
Depression
Depression is normally an emotional phenomenon and it should be differentiated from depression as a disorder. Depressive disorder not only includes dull/sad moods, but it also involves a lack of interest as well as a negative thoughts.

Mania
A person experiencing mania is quite opposite of depression. In the manic phase, a person is unusually cheerful, overactive, boastful, and making big plans with reduced need for sleep. Generally, a patient is reported as ‘unlike his usual self. Medications and therapy are essential for a manic person.

Bipolar Mood Disorder
Formerly called manic depression and it is a mental health condition that causes extreme mood swings that include emotional highs (mania or hypomania) and lows (depression). It is widely believed to be the result of chemical imbalances in the brain.

Schizophrenia
Schizophrenia is a state of chronic brain disorder. A person having schizophrenia disorder have symptoms that include delusions, hallucinations, trouble with thinking and concentration, and lack of motivation. However, most symptoms of schizophrenia will greatly improve with treatment.

Dementia
Dementia is a serious mental problem caused by brain disease or injury. It affects the ability to think, remember and behave normally. It is not a specific disease, but various different diseases may cause dementia.

Seizure Disorder
In a seizure attack, a sudden, uncontrolled electrical disturbance in the brain occurs. It can cause changes in behaviour, feelings or movements and levels of consciousness. In case a person has two or more seizures or a tendency to have recurrent seizures, you have epilepsy.

Types of Headache
A headache may occur due to stress or emotional distress, or it can result from a medical disorder, such as anxiety, migraine or high blood pressure, and depression. Headaches may lead to other problems and people with chronic migraine headaches, for example, may find it difficult to do their work properly.

Unfamiliar Pain Disorder
Some conditions like somatization disorder, dyspareunia, conversion disorder, or mood disorders can eliminate pain disorder as a diagnosis. However, there are few writers who propose that the diagnosis for unfamiliar pain should be adjustment disorder because it does not pathologize individuals with this medical condition.

Gastrointestinal Disorder
Gastrointestinal disorders include conditions such as constipation, haemorrhoids, irritable bowel syndrome, anal fissures, perianal abscesses, anal fistulas, perianal infections, diverticular diseases, colitis, colon polyps and cancer. Among these, many problems can be prevented or controlled by maintaining a healthy lifestyle, practising good bowel habits, and submitting to cancer screening.

Anxiety Disorders
Facing occasional anxiety is a normal part of human life. However, people experiencing anxiety disorders regularly have intense, excessive and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations. Anxiety disorders generally involve repeated episodes of sudden feelings of intense anxiety and fear or terror that reach a peak within minutes (panic attacks).

Combinations of mental disorders include bipolar, depression, disorder, schizophrenia and other psychoses, dementia, and developmental disorders including autism.
